Contingent Search
We begin by taking time to thoroughly understand your business and
departmental needs. Understanding your company's culture and goals will allow us
to identify the right caliber of talent for the open position. We will spend
time speaking with you and your team regarding the specifics of the role. We
will then begin our selection process. This involves research among our
database, networks and industry specific sits and tools. We will then thorughy
screen qualified candidates who have the experience and expertise you are
looking hire. We do all of the work in locating high caliber candidates
that fit your needs and present the top matching candidates to you as we
uncover the talent. We will also manage and facilitate the scheduling of
interviews, debriefs with both the candidate and hiring managers and conduct
formal reference checking. We will also faciliate the conclusion of the search
and partner with you during the on-boarding process.
Engagement Search
An engagement search is a combination of a contingent and retained
search. One third of the total projected fee is due upfront prior to the
commencing the search. The final two-thirds is due when the search has been
successfully completed. While the hiring manager will not receive all of the
benefits of a retained search using this option, HotShot Talent is dedicated to
spending a significant amount of time on your search daily until the position is
filled. We recommend an engagement search if you have an urgent position that
needs to be filled or your search must be handled with the utmost
confidentiality. We will conduct a thorough reference check and provide you with
a written summary at offer stage.
Retained
A retained search is preferred if your need is urgent or you have a
confidential executive level need. These positions are typically instrumental in
the overall success of your business. Retained searches are given priority
status and a dedicated research team is assigned. We will arrange a time to
visit your office and meet with all key executives involved in this important
hiring decision. We will gather the necessary information to create the position
profile. This profile functions as a marketing piece shared with prospective
candidates. Our key focus is approaching passive candidates who are excelling in
their current position, also known as headhunting. If desired, you will be
provided a weekly score card of results. These results include key metrics of
the search. In completion of the selected finalist, a thorough background and
reference check is conducted and provided to you with a written summary.
